Without revealing key narrative elements in order to preserve the audience’s experience, my short film primarily follows the perspective of a young woman confronted with a disturbing presence in an everyday public space. Through a subtle interplay of glances, silences, and unspoken tension between the two characters, the film explores how discomfort, diffuse fear, and loneliness coexist within contemporary urban environments.
The project embraces a social impact filmmaking approach by addressing themes such as isolation, mental health, human relationships in anonymous public spaces, and the female experience within those environments. By encouraging the audience to identify with the main character, the film aims to spark reflection on our relationship with others, collective indifference, and the situations society often prefers not to confront.
