Countering an inner crisis, the filmmaker’s path was a bit unusual - instead of growing conventionally into filming, he has tried to go back to raw imaging to find his inquiry. This is a story of finding a foundation.
It all fit together when he came across an unusual museum in Brussels. Trapped amidst the halls and rooms of an old military hospital - he found a Radiology Museum, one of only three dedicated to radiology in the world.

Having spent their entire professional life with medical imaging and its golden evolution, they became a part of the classical radiology heritage. As the years passed and this generation reached retirement, their passion did not subside. This is when Dr. Van Tiggelen, former military radiologist, proposed an experiment to install a museum inside the hospital. It is now run by enthusiastic retirees. In their own sense, these people are mapping the human soul, and creating a journey from birth to death - so it’s only fitting to see how the filmmaker found a rebirth within the labs.
