"What Remains" reflects a very particular moment in life, where young adulthood is no longer what it once was. Vera's character focuses on portraying a closed-off physical world, reflecting everything her mind is going through: emotional instability, introspection, anxiety, depression, and even a lack of connection with the real world. In short, something the millennial generation understands perfectly because of the social impact the world has been going through for the last 20 years, that is why we decided to portray this inner world that somehow, we all experience when change is inevitable.
