I am Maria, an independent filmmaker, and I've chosen this frame from my short film OTHERHOOD because we were lucky enough to capture it just as the sun decided to unexpectedly shine in cloudy Yorkshire where we were filming, which reminded me that no matter how much you prep as a filmmaker, it's sometimes these spontaneous moments which create the biggest impact both for the audience, but also for yourself as the creator.
