I’m Margot Torresin, a filmmaker currently studying film directing in Chicago. I chose this frame from my latest project, Out of Orbit, which has recently entered post production. To me, this frame captures the bittersweet aftermath of a difficult choice made in the name of care. Filmmaking gives me a chance to process what I have not yet said aloud, and in leaving an audience to sit without a clean resolution, I hope they might reflect on closure in their own lives.
