My name is Loïc Piaux, a young French documentary filmmaker with a particular interest in social, human, and environmental issues. Telling impactful stories in order to contribute to a better world is my driving force. I chose this frame because I’m drawn to the contrast that brings it to life: within a single image, an entire world is conveyed. One can feel the tension, the suffering, the pain… and yet, despite all this, there is also a certain poetry, a mystical aura, and a desire to break free and overcome hardship
