I am a Swiss filmmaker. My practice lies between generative AI and documentary filmmaking, where images are collected and shaped through montage, rather than conceived as fixed representations from the outset. I approach both generated and captured visuals as fragments of reality, materials to be selected, organized, and given meaning through editing.
This frame is taken from "PASTURE PROTOCOL". I chose it because it embodies that process: an image that feels observed rather than constructed, intimate and almost documentary in its stillness, yet subtly revealing the presence of an artificial system behind it. What interests me is precisely this ambiguity, where the boundary between reality and simulation becomes unstable, and where something unexpectedly human can emerge from a fully generated world.
