Some facts: I was born in Ecuador and now I'm based in Berlin.
I chose this frame from my latest upcoming short film " Entre Ser y Estar" in honor of the Duemila30 festival 2024 where I met Marina, with whom I co directed the project. I wouldn't have met her if it wasn't for the festival. I love this frame, how the protagonists are not facing the camera, there is some obsession in cinema with having our protagonist always looking at the camera to immerse us in the story, maybe to give us some sort of control of the situation. I think it's beautiful also to take a step back and just realize we are just mere observers of stories, even in our own lives.
